The best month of the year is officially upon us: March. The madness doesn’t begin for another two weeks, but as seasons wind down and conference tournaments begin, the madness feels very much at our fingertips.
SEC Top 10 teams: 4/10 (40%) SEC Top 25 teams: 7/25 (28%)
Who’s on top?
Auburn (27-2) maintains their foothold atop the peak. Duke (26-3) moves up to #2, while Houston (25-4) and Tennessee (24-5) move up to 3 and 4. Florida (25-4) drops to #5 after their loss in Athens last week.
Big Risers
Clemson (24-5) somewhat quietly moves up to #12, notching their 24th win of the season. Purdue (20-9) is back up 3 spots after winning last week, while several teams move up 1 or 2 spots.
Big Sliders
Texas A&M (20-9) drops 6 spots after suffering two losses last week. Missouri (21-8) drops 4 after a road loss at Vanderbilt.
New Additions
Mississippi State (20-9) is the lone drop out from last week’s rankings. VCU (23-5) takes their place at #24, as they take a firm grip on the Atlantic 10.
